Christian B. Fabi
Christian B. Fabi is a Partner in the Industries Group at Novacap, bringing with him over 25 years of valuable experience as entrepreneur, CEO, business consultant and in corporate management.
Before joining Novacap, Christian was an entrepreneur and a private investor. From 2020 to 2023, he spent time investing and advising private companies and private equity firms in the manufacturing and distribution field. From 2003 to 2020, Christian was co-owner of Eureka Lighting/The Luminaires Group. The Luminaires Group was a leading North American lighting manufacturer with 370 employees providing a wide range of specification grade luminaires for commercial, institutional, and urban environments. During this period, Christian held different executive positions, including CEO for 10 years, and has been instrumental in the significant growth of the company, including four successful acquisitions in Canada and in the U.S. The Luminaires Group was sold to the leading North American lighting manufacturing company, Acuity Brands (NYSE:AYI), in 2019.
Prior to his entrepreneurial experience with The Luminaires Group, Christian held different roles in corporate, financial and strategic planning, forecasting as well as marketing management positions across a variety of organisations (PwC, Microcell Telecom/Fido and CloudRaker).
Mr. Fabi holds a Master of Business Administration (M.Sc.) in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from Université de Sherbrooke.
Christian is the Chairman of the Board at Alliance Labeling and serves on the Boards of Directors for Globe Electric and Foliot Furniture.
