Philippe Carmant
Philippe Carmant earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance, with honors and as a Calvin C. Potter Fellow, from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets, focusing on M&A transactions and capital raisings across a variety of industries. Subsequently, Philippe joined Sagard as a Private Equity Associate, where he concentrated on investments in Canadian-based business services companies.
Currently, Philippe serves as an Associate at Novacap, specializing in TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) strategy. Beyond his professional endeavors, he actively participates in the finance community, serving as a board member of Les Editions Esse and as co-president of Reseau Capital’s New Generation Committee.
Mr. Carmant joined Novacap in 2023. He currently serves as a board observer for Static Media and Previan.
