Director, Investor Relations
The Director of Investor Relations will work directly with the firm’s Head of Investor Relations & Strategy, as well as senior leadership across the Investment, Finance and Reporting, Market Intelligence, and Legal Teams.
Responsibilities:
Investor Relations
- Respond to ongoing LP data inquiries/information requests in coordination with various internal constituencies, e.g. investment, finance, legal teams.
- Participate in investor update calls and meetings, as appropriate.
- Assist in tracking existing LP communication and feedback.
- Develop detailed knowledge of the Firm’s investment process and portfolio, including investment strategies and financial performance of portfolio companies, and ability to communicate same to investors.
Fundraising & Marketing
- Prepare and maintain fundraising related materials (PPM, DDQ, investor pitchbook & case studies).
- As an SEC registrant, maintain consistent best practices with Compliance.
- Manage online data rooms and update due diligence materials.
- Track and fulfill LP’s due diligence requests in collaboration with the Investment, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Coordinate and prepare investment teams for LP meetings.
- Assist in managing coinvest processes with existing and prospective LPs.
- Work with Communications to develop new communication material/presentations relevant to the Firm and responsive to LP needs from time to time.
- Work with Market Intelligence to maintain the IRM database and LP pipeline reporting.
Analytical Activities
- Assist with the preparation of analyses to support investor communications.
- Utilize Market Intelligence Center to conduct market and competitive analyses, to share with both LPs and Investment Teams.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, finance or related fields preferred.
- 3-5 years in a role demonstrating deep knowledge of corporate finance, including investment banking, consulting, private equity, among others.
- Exceptional analytical, financial, and technical prowess.
- Superior written and verbal skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling presentations and marketing materials.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, notably Excel and PowerPoint.
- Desirable: Experience with Preqin, Pitchbook, DealCloud, and S&P IQ.
- Full bilingual fluency in French and English is essential.

- Very process oriented, highly organized, and responsive, ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player and an entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality, who can engage multiple constituencies across Novacap, managing across and ‘up’ the organization.
