Jean-Philippe Garant
Jean-Philippe Garant holds Bachelor of Arts, Economics from McGill University as well as a Master in Financial Economics (MFE) from the University of Toronto.
Prior to joining Novacap, Mr. Garant worked in the Direct Private Equity group at CPP Investments, based in London, where he was involved with multiple transactions across the financial services sector. At CPP Investments, Mr. Garant was responsible for the evaluation and due diligence of new opportunities, execution of transactions, as well as bringing strategic support to the portfolio companies and their management teams. Prior to that, he was at BMO Capital Markets.
Mr. Garant is a member of the Board of Directors of Revau, AGA Benefit Solutions, and Ratehub.ca.
